1.
To set up Netscape Communicator 4.5 just follow these easy steps. First
open up Netscape Communicator, go to the
Edit Menu up top. Open up the
Preferences option.
Click on the Navigator
Category on the left hand side. Enter http://www.surfglobal.net
in the location
box located in the middle of the window.

Expand out the Mail
and Newsgroups category by clicking on the (+)
symbol next to it. Select the Identity
option. Enter your name in the Your Name
field and email address in the Email Address
box. Your email address is your username@surfglobal.net.

Click on the Mail
Servers option below Identity. Enter
mail.surfglobal.net for
the Outgoing Mail Server
located in the middle of the window. And enter you username
(i.e.
username@surfglobal.net) for
the Outgoing mail server
user name. Click on the Add
button in the upper right hand side of the window.

Enter
mail.surfglobal.net
for the Server Name,
select POP3 Server
for the Server Type,
and enter you username
(i.e. username@surfglobal.net).
Put a check in remember
password box. Put a check in the box to check
for mail every 15 minutes. And put a check in the
box to Automatically download any new messages.
Click on OK.
